Hyem: Not only is it the Geordie word for home, it’s also a bar and venue in the heart of Heaton.

Inside we’ve got our main bar downstairs, and a live venue with some of the best live music nights in Newcastle including Born Snapped, Rabbit Punch, Club Britpop, and fabulous acoustic and open Mic nights ran by the Newcastle Session Musicians Group.

There’s entertainment on pretty much every night of the week, we do a quiz night every Tuesday, poker on Wednesday’s, and we cover most of the Sky football matches.

We’re a Free House which means we are flexible in the choice of drinks brands that are on sale and will always strive to get the best brands and the best offers for you. We also have a bar menu that runs from breakfast through till tea time and offers affordable, quality pub food, with traditional lunches on Sunday, and Curry and Pasta nights through the week.
